It’s been a busy few months!

Back in May, we had our very first practice, closed doors, bout against CCR’s Raging Belles. It was a fantastic game and we all learnt so much. We’d like to thank Central City Rollergirls for the opportunity and coming down to Horrorford to help us out! We look forward to seeing you all again soon. It was an incredible experience and left us thirsty for more. So, we’re looking for teams we can compete against, be it practice behind closed doors, or open to the paying public! If you’re part of a team who’d like to play us, please contact us at hereford.rollergirls@gmail.comRoller girl events…

Not only do we skate but  we also like to help raise money for charities. We have a heap of fundraisers coming up, and would love it if you could join us, or donate money to some fantastic causes.

We will be walking the Walk of Worcestershire on the 1st of July, 10 miles without wheels on our feet in aid of Acorn’s Children’s Hospice Trust. If you would like to sponsor us, we would be truely grateful. Please visit our Justgiving page, even if it’s just a few pennies!

We will also be hosting our very own quiz night on the 13th July, venue TBC, hosted by the lovely Leon Oldman of TGS’s Bars Wars and Sunshine Radio fame! More details of this to come so keep your eyes peeled!

Do you want to learn to play Roller Derby? You can join us at Weobley School on Monday nights from 6 – 7:30pm, and we’ll teach you all of the skills you need to be a badass derby girl! (Or an amazing male or female Derby Zebra, aka Referee!) Sessions cost £5, and if you need the kit (skates, pads, helmet) we can provide it until you have your own – you’ll also need a mouthguard. If you want to join us, you’ll need to be 18 or over and you must book your space before coming along. If you need to loan our equipment, you’ll need to message us before 5pm on the Friday evening prior to the session. To book or to find out more, you can contact us here
