Hereford Roller Girls raise £300 for Blackmarston School’s Sensory Appeal.

Hereford Roller Girls spent an inspirational day with staff and pupils from Blackmarston School. The skaters attended the Jupiter Class assembly and presented the teachers with a cheque for £300. The money was raised at a fundraising quiz night, held earlier in the year, and will go towards the Blackmarston School Sensory Appeal. The class thanked the team with a handmade card and a tour around the school.

“We had a lovely morning watching Blackmarston’s assembly about friendship and helping others. It was moving to say that we too had asked for help from our friends and helped raise £300 for their sensory appeal. It was very inspirational to see the rooms set up and being used, and I’m pleased we could help contribute to this. The children performed a great assembly and it was enjoyable to see all the children take part.”
