Despite the win, the result sees the Bulls fall to 74th in the European Rankings. The Bomb Squad climb to 135th. “The Bomb Squad are a fantastic team,” said Captain Becce Turner. “We have practiced with them before and their strength and discipline has always impressed us. We are sure they will rapidly climb up the rankings if they keep playing as they did yesterday.”
“We head to the Heartland Finals in three weeks,” said Vice-Captain Kim Wild, who won the bout’s Most Valuable Player award for the Horror Bulls. “Today’s game was the perfect preparation for that; physically and mentally demanding with heavy hits and a fight to the end. We loved every minute!”
